Compensation and Other Perks
We are bootstrapped. We have no VC "funny money" to set on fire, and we have no interest in building an "adult daycare" atmosphere.
Our compensation strategy is designed to attract builders who care about craft and impact, while being transparent about the constraints of a bootstrapped company.
We may not match the compensation levels of larger or VC-backed companies. Our goal is to provide fair compensation, keep improving it over time, and structure the total package in a way that is as tax-efficient as possible via compliant benefit tools.
Salary Expectations
Because we’re bootstrapped, our salary bands may be lower than some top-of-market offers.
What we aim for:
- Fairness and transparency: we share ranges early and avoid games.
- Sustainability: we keep fixed costs healthy so we can keep building long-term.
- Continuous improvement: as the company grows, we aim to improve compensation and the overall package.
Benefits
We don't offer performative "wellness" perks or cutesy office games. We offer tools that help you execute.
- Profit Sharing: We are bootstrapped, which means we are profitable or dead. When we win, we distribute a percentage of net profits back to the team who built the engine.
- Welfare / benefits budget (tax-efficient when possible): we use benefits tools (e.g., welfare/fringe-benefit platforms) to improve net outcomes where legally possible. Availability, amounts, and tax treatment depend on your location and the applicable rules (including statutory exemption thresholds).
- The Craft-first Builder Setup: We are a remote-first organization. We value outcomes over optics and comfort over the corporate playbook. You get a high-performance machine and the autonomy to work where you are most productive.

Culture & Operations
- Asynchronous by Default: We reject the tyranny of the "quick sync." We have zero mandatory recurring meetings. We write documentation-first, relentlessly. Your time is for deep work and not performing busyness on videoconferencing calls. That said: we’re a team. When someone needs help synchronously, we show up.
- You can work from wherever: from home, together with the team in a temporary coworking space, or from a Thai beach. Some clients may require in-person work at times, but we keep it as rare as possible. (Note: We’ll also make sure you stay compliant with applicable employment, tax residency, and “working abroad” laws.)
The "Anti-Perks"
WE DO NOT HAVE:
- No "Chief Happiness Officers".
- No branded swag bags. We accept feedback on this—maybe some swag is actually worth it.
- No "Unlimited PTO" traps (we do "Minimum Mandatory PTO" instead).
